JEFFREY LEE CHIAT JIN, LLB (Hons), National University of Singapore and LLM, University of London has more than 20 years’ experience and concentrates his work mainly in the areas of conveyancing, corporate and commercial work (including corporate finance). He has also represented major banks including DBS Bank Ltd, UOB Ltd, OCBC Ltd and Malayan Banking Bhd.

To date, he has published articles in various journals including International Journal of Law and Technology, Singapore Law Gazette, Canadian Journal of Law and Technology and Canadian Intellectual Property Review.

He has authored six legal textbooks, including “Commentary-Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act, Unfair Contract Term Act, Supply of Goods Act/Sale of Goods Act, Sale of Goods (UN Convention) Act (Butterworths Asia 2003) and “Commentary on Sale of Goods Act, Supply of Goods Act and Sale of Goods (United Nations Convention) Act” (Lexis Nexis 2012). He has also published the legal textbooks, “Consumer Protection, Aspects of Competition – Law and Domestic and International Sale of Goods (Halsbury’s Law of Singapore Vol 5) (Butterworths Asia)(2001 & 2005 Editions) and “Sale of Supply of Goods and Services Vol 5(2) (Lexis Nexis) (2010 & 2014 Editions).
